Second Phase of Studio Reopening

The first few weeks of our reopening have reminded me in many ways of the first few weeks that Homegrown Yoga opened over four years ago.  I celebrate every time you register for a class or make a purchase; I’m nervous every time before I teach my class; and I want to be at the studio every  second to make sure things are going smoothly.  I am so incredibly grateful to each of you for your patience, support and kindness as we in many ways are beginning again at the studio.   

Starting Monday, June 1st we will move into the second phase of our reopening. On this date, we will reopen our Perry studio to provide you with more class options – at the bottom of this email is the June and July schedule for both Warner Robins and Perry!

Also as of June 1st, we will move to online registration via Mindbody so that non-autopay members can register for classes as well!  


A few important things to note regarding this second phase of reopening:

  • We will require everyone to register in advance on  Mindbody so that teachers will not need to accept payment or sign you in for class.  The June schedule is currently on our website and you can begin signing up for classes at your convenience!  I recognize that this is a new process for many so please reach out to me at 478.297.4023 or via email if you have any issues logging into your Mindbody account or need help in registering for classes!  (Please note:  if you have been to the studio, you already have an account on our Mindbody so please do not create a new one!  If you do not know your username or password, just email us and we’ll send it to you!)
  • We will maintain limited class size during this phase to ensure social distancing measures.  Because of limited space, we have put in place a cancellation policy for this phase of our reopening.  All cancellations must be made on  Mindbody or via email at least 3 hours before the start of class.  If you cancel less than 3 hours before class (or do not show for class), you will still be charged for that class.  As a continued thank you to our monthly autopay members, there is no penalty for no-shows or late cancellations, but we greatly appreciate you cancelling in advance if you realize you will not be able to attend!
  • Please continue to bring your own mat and props as we will not be using community props during this phase of our reopening.
  • As of June 1st, we will no longer be posting online classes.  You can still access our entire video library of classes on our Facebook page, however, we will no longer be posting new videos.    

I expect this second phase to run until the end of July at which time we hope to expand our schedule.  As all new things go, I also expect speedbumps, a learning curve and a few, “can we try this whole thing over again differently?” =)  But if these past few months have taught me anything, it is that these exact challenges are what push us to grow, learn and get stronger both individually and as a community.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for continuing to show up, support and love our little yoga community – you mean the world to us!
